This organic brut cava has aged according to the traditional method in our Barcelona cellars. Grapes are soft and lightly pressed. We do not use chemicals in our vineyards. During harvesting, most of our grapes are hand-picked and selected to ensure their optimal quality before pressing. The Parellada grapes are grown in the mountains at 500 metres altitude. These grapes are like gold to all our cavas and ensure the fresh sores. Macabeo grows on the lower parts and brings roundness. Xarel.lo has a strong personality with its intense aromas and gives structure to the cava. The design is inspired on the typical Barcelona street flower tile called ‘Rosa de Barcelona’.
Tasting Notes
- In Appearance: Pale straw yellow with greenish hints. Fine and long lasting bubbles.
- On the Nose: Intense and fresh aromas of green apple, citrus notes and notes of pastry and almonds.
- On the Palette: Harmonious and appetizing in the mouth with great balance and intense fruity aromas.
